PRINT FILE REQUIREMENTS
For printing, engraving, embroidery, etc., we need design files in vector graphics. All text used in the design must be in curved form. Depending on the printing technology, bitmap graphics may also be suitable. For example, photos are also suitable for sublimation printing (resolution of at least 300 dpi is preferred).
If you don’t have a suitable file format, we can offer you to draw your logo into vector graphics and other design services.
Suitable file formats
Vector graphics files from most popular design software are suitable:
Corel Draw (cdr)
Adobe Illustrator (ai)
Adobe photoshop (tiff, eps, psd)
Fonts
All fonts in a print file must be in the form of “curves” or attached font files.
Colours
We generally print in Pantone Solid Coated colours, and therefore require files to be supplied in the appropriate colours, or to be separately marked with the appropriate codes.
Depending on the printing technology, CMYK or RGB colours may also be suitable (many paper prints, sublimation printing, etc.).
Resolution
All image files intended for printing should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. There may be exceptions depending on the printing technology and the design, which will become clear once we have received the relevant files from you.
Submission of files
You can send us artwork files by e-mail if they are up to 5 MB in size. For large files, we ask you to transfer them via, for example, Wetransfer or Dropbox, which offer free file transfer. It is also suitable if you have the product files on some storage media (memory stick, CD, DVD, etc.) or upload them to your server, giving it the necessary access.
