SILCKSCREEN PRINT
Silk screen printing is largely used for printing flat products such as various textile products (T-shirts, textile bags, hats, etc.), but also in circular printing for the application of symbols on various smooth or cylindrical promotional items such as mugs, glasses, pens, ice scrapers etc.
What is screen printing?
Silk screen printing is done using pre-stretched silk frames on which the image to be printed is illuminated. The logo is pushed through the printing frame onto the product. You can print in up to 8 colours, and it is also quite feasible to print symbols with different colour transitions (raster images). PANTONE colours are used, which are mixed separately for each print.
Which products are suitable for screen printing?
Almost all products are suitable for screen printing. Silk screen printing is widely used for printing on T-shirts and mugs, for example. Silk-screen printing can be used to produce a much larger print area than, for example, pad printing. When printing on textiles, the maximum printing area is 38 x 45 cm, but in some cases it can be larger.
