ENGRAVING
Engraving is one of the most permanent ways of applying a imprint to a wide range of products. Depending on the type of material, we either diamond drag engraving (or mechanical engraving) or laser engraving. In the case of diamond drag engraving, a cutting blade is used to apply the logo to the product. In the case of laser engraving, the logo is applied to the product by laser beam burning.
Diamond drag engraving is suitable for use on most metal surfaces, but is not suitable for engraving wood and leather, for example.
Laser engraving offers a wider choice of materials and is also well suited for engraving wood, leather or plastic. The tone of the engraving may vary depending on the wood. Anodised aluminium gives a light silver (almost white) result. On pure stainless steel material the result is black engraving.
